GMV Minerals Inc. Appoints Advisory Board Member

VANCOUVER, BC, May 14, 2015 – GMV Minerals Inc. (the “Company” or “GMV”) (TSX V: GMV) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ronald L. Handford, P.Eng., BASc., MBA, to its Advisory Board.

Mr. Handford is a mining and technology entrepreneur and advisor with 18 years of CEO and senior executive experience. He has raised or participated in raising almost $80 million in private and public equity and has extensive investor, banking, industry and government contacts in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to this executive experience, Mr. Handford was an international resources banker in corporate and project finance for 15 years and a structural and project management engineer for six years.

During his banking career, Mr. Handford worked with the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group based in Washington, D.C., Barclays Bank of Canada and the National Bank/Mercantile Bank of Canada. In this time he provided project financing for gold mines in North America, South America and Africa, including both heap leach and underground mines.

Mr. Handford advises exploration, development and technology companies on corporate and project finance; international corporate and market development; and investor, media, public, and government relations.

Subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, the Company has granted incentive stock options to a consultant to purchase up to 50,000 common shares exercisable on or before May 14, 2020 at a price of $0.25 per share.
