GMV Minerals Inc. Enters Into Agreement to Acquire Additional Claims at the Mexican Hat Gold Property, Arizona

VANCOUVER, BC, FEBRUARY 25, 2015 - GMV Minerals Inc. (the “Company” or “GMV”) (TSX-V:GMV) is pleased to announce that it has entered into formal agreements to acquire a 100% interest in two State of Arizona mineral exploration licenses (08-117862 & 08-117863 covering Township 19 South, Range 25 East, Sections 9 and 16) located directly adjacent to the Company’s current land holdings in Cochise County, S.E. Arizona. Final approval is pending from State regulators.

The two exploration licenses are south of the Victor Claims and contain the same Tertiary volcanic rocks and structures that host the mineralization currently being assessed by the Company. In the 1990’s, Santa Fe Pacific Mining completed 29 holes using reverse circulation drilling on Section 9 (T19S, R25E) receiving good gold bearing results in 18 of them. Eleven of the drill holes had multiple intercepts. Results included four intercepts in RC 09-08 including 3.0 meters (m) of 0.96 grams of gold per tonne (gpt gold), 16.8 m of 0.76 gpt gold, 4.6 m of 0.55 gpt gold, and 7.6 m of 1.34 gpt gold. The addition of Section 9’s positive results, strongly indicate the possibility of significant expansion of the Victor claims’ mineralized data set. Currently, the known mineralization on the Victor claims is open in all directions and at depth.

Ian Klassen, CEO commented “We are excited about the prospect of tripling the size of our land position at the Mexican Hat. Data from the work to date has confirmed our vision of the development potential in the area. The Company is in the final stages of completing a NI#43-101. Once received, it will be made available on the Company’s website and for review on SEDAR.”

Dr. D.R. Webb, B.A.Sc. (Engineering), M.Sc. Ph.D., P.Geo. is a qualified person within the meaning of NI #43-101. Dr. Webb has reviewed and is responsible for the technical details of this release.
